Ever heard of Postcrossing? I never did, but it is a lovely idea.
So what is it?
You register at the Postcrossing site and ask for an adress to send a card to.
Then you send a card. When all goes well in time you get cards too.
On the Postcrossing site you can read more about this. You can fill in your profile, upload an avatar, even can write which cards you want to receive etc.
Here are the basic steps:
- request an address from the website
- mail the postcard to the address
- wait to receive a postcard
- register the received postcard in the system
I think it is a nice way of connecting with other people.
